Loders (ARC) – Are Rightfully Crowned!

Loders ARC is celebrating after two team members went from best in the West, to best of the best when they won prestigious accolades at a national Volkswagen awards ceremony at The Belfry. Director of Loders Accident Repair Centre (ARC), Brian Singer and Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician Bob Collin were crowned National Volkswagen Bodyshop Manager and MET Technician of the Year respectively.

After competing in an online Volkswagen Technical Knowledge Competition earlier in the year, Brian was first crowned Regional Bodyshop Manager and Bob won Regional (MET) Technician of the Year, along with Loders ARC’s Jamie Baker who was also crowned South West Regional Painter of the Year. After this initial haul, all three were interviewed by an official Volkswagen Assessor to see if they could become national champions.

Brian Singer comments: “It is a fantastic achievement to have three regional winners from Loders ARC, but to now have both myself and Bob as national winners is testament to the hard work of the whole Loders ARC team. It was great to receive our regional awards at the national ceremony, which was held at The Belfry Hotel in the Midlands, but to also win two national awards on the night was the icing on the cake!”

The National Volkswagen Paint and Bodyshop Awards test all 180 approved Paint and Bodyshop Centres in the Country and asses each team’s technical knowledge in every individual field

The Volkswagen Awards Ceremony and Conference was attended by Brian, Bob and Jamie along with Brian Keene, David Snelling and Haley Owen, Loders ARC Accounts Manager.

Brian Keene comments: “It is a real boost to have three of our Loders ARC experts recognised in their respective areas. Our ARC operation is supported by individuals that boast years of experience and cutting edge technical knowledge.
